Powers
Flight via mystical cowl: The mystical cowl mimics brownish, feathery wings when MoonHawk transforms the Egyptian material via telepath link. These wings give him the ability to fly as a hawk. The wings are super-humanly strong, easy capable of breaking a man's bones and tossing some one through a wall with ease. He can lift additional 300 pounds with the strength from his wings. Enhance strength allows him to lift up to 1 ton.
Magnetism: MoonHawk can channel his psi-magnetic ability whenever the Moon is visible. This energy is controlled through his nervous system with the support from the mystical cowl he wears. He can be injured or harmed if an electric shock hits his body, or the cowl he is wearing is pulled off of him.
MoonHawk can only lift 1 ton of weight while using his ability and can manipulate any type of metal due to the mystical nature of the cowl. He is limited to further manipulation of Earth's gravity and this power is still mysterious to Rashne. He is the first avatar to gain this power from the mystical cowl.

Abandonment Issues: Trust issues with those who are close with him. This is due to not having a social influences when he was a child. Rashne remembers his parents, but is fearful to attach himself to others for the fear of losing them. He has learned to live on his own and not put his faith in others to help him along in life, a side affect for living the slums in Persia.
Lunar Defect: Magnetism is only enable when the Moon is presence. On his home planet, his powers were great because of the presence of two lunar moons. Now, he has entered the residence of the DCU universe, he only has one moon to allow him to gain his powers from. Thus, making his powers weaker.
[color=yellow]Personality(ie. Kind, Leader, etc)
Rashne's first well-known characteristic was always being relentlessly honest with himself and openly considered and admitted his flaws; if somebody pointed out a trait to him, he took no offense, but sought to rectify it. Allowing him to improve on his flaws, rather than allow the trait dominate his overall character. This characteristics was renowned by his mother, a once respected Persian Queen of the Kapoor,
Rashne's second characteristic he developed was intense self-confidence with himself and his direct manner of speaking, which caused many people to consider him arrogant and self-centered. This quality was notorious personality trait by his father, who believed all men should be proper and educated.
Zindar selected Rashne, because he embodiment the Moon. The Moon is the light of any realm or planet- the world of shadow and night. Although it controls the shadow and night, it does not have to be frightening. In the right circumstances, the Moon inspires and enchants the viewer or eye gazer. It holds out the promise that all one can imagine can be obtained. The Moon guides one to the unknown so one can allow the unusual into one's life. Rashne inspires others to seek out their own destiny and to take responsibility of it. He galvanizes the common man to take action, when there is no hope to be found. When he donned the mantle of MoonHawk, it allowed Rashne to fulfill his need of devotion to a cause; like his mother always taunt him through her Hindu faith to follow life's purpose and role in life.
Through his kinship with his friend, 31st Cabalist, (Think of relationships, such as Han Solo and Chewbacca or Hawkman and The Atom, or Kirk and Spock) Rashne learned to loosen up, breaking his emotional distance and brashness, engaging in dry humor, and a devotion to the adventure and acts of heroic bravado. The unlikely partners formed a unique bond together, which allow them to balance each other out.
In your opinion, what makes your character original and/or iconic?
In the 21st century the superhero genre has skyrocketed to new heights. Once, a secretive passion has become the new face of entertainment. How does one make a unique character, where both Marvel and DC owns thousands of characters? Well I was able to take my likes and dislikes of the characters I read and started to think to myself, why don't I create a character based on the all the characters I love. Then one day, MoonHawk was born. MoonHawk is unique, because I have created him to be a blend the powers of magnetism, mysticism, and changing his appearance through his mystical cowl. Nobody has come up with the idea of changing one's cowl into feathered wings before. Rashne is quiet and reserve in mannerism. He is polite, charming, and drives to become better. His life on the streets allowed him to hone in his natural abilities, while spending all the time reading the things he loved the most mythology and ancient history. He has partnered with 31st Cabalist, who balances him in his quest of adventure and sense of purpose. 31st brings out the best in MoonHawk by teaching the young man to trust and understanding the meaning of friendship and companionship.
Rashne comes from a different version of Persian, where they are the powerhouses of their world. His theology is base on the Hindu believed, but shares the one-sited view in hierocracy. He does not believe women should be in power, which will make for good drama between female members. I see this view changing in time, but not without going through a hardship to understand that women have rights too. I would say that Rashne, a man from a alternate Earth and the mystical Persian hero would make an interesting character to any team.
How does your character stand out amongst his/her fellow heroes?
Rashne comes from an alternate Earth, where the history, people, and well-known events have developed differently than the DC universe. He grew up in the urban cities of Persia, which molded him to become a better person and survivor. Rashne blends the mystical, magic, and traditional training on his own to face evil. Adventurous and having a sense of purpose in life - drives Rashne to become the hero he is. MoonHawk is just a front and false face to whom he is inside. The real hero lies inside the young man, who strives to make a difference in the world around him. Rashne will make sure that justice is brought to the injustice, and people who cannot defend for themselves will be able to have a guardian and protector. He is Middle Eastern and Persian in appearance, again, how many characters do you see come from these traditions or ideology? Not many. Marvel has Dust and Arabian Knight, while DC has Black Adam. I have a different spin on this character, which makes him stand out amongst his peers.
Character Bio
Rashne, raised among the Persian Empire, was brought up in a culture of strict discipline and devotion to duty, values, and loyalty to the domain. He respected his father for his devotion, kindness, and charisma charm as a well-known clan leader. Rashne was inspired to study words and their meanings, to better expand his vocabulary to impress his father with what he had learned. His mother was a beautiful soft-spoken Persian woman. She was a devoted Hindu, who viewed life as a journey to impact the world with a sense of purpose.
Hearing his father talk, made him more observant to how to speak and act towards complete strangers with His personality rebelled against everything he was taunt to believe in, thus, he was wily and cunning, wanting to ignore regimented rules and become free spirited. Rashne parents accepted him, but encourage him on proper mannerism to become a well respected man in the Persian society. When his family was slaughtered by a fellow clansman, he was exile into the outskirts of the empire to seek out a life on the streets as an orphan. The free spirited kid turned into a brash young man during his times in the slums, quickly settling into the routines of survival and stood out among his peers as an outcast to society. The family name Kapoor, now, echoes the word "failure" to the Persian ideology of honor and duty to its people. Rashne had to change his last name to save himself from being targeted by rivaling clans, or a petty thug wanting to prove his self-worth by killing a traitorous man to the Persian ideology.
When Rashne was younger, he was very observant, cheerful, and devoted child. firmness, but respectfulness. He was inspired to study words and their meanings, to better expand his vocabulary to impress his father with what he had learned. Rashne's mother was a beautiful soft-spoken Persian woman. She was a devoted Hindu, who viewed life as a journey to impact the world with a sense of purpose. At the age of seven, a rival family that wanted to lead the clan challenged Rashne's family. Unknowing to his father, a long time friend and personal bodyguard, Nevo, assassinated him and his wife in their sleep. As Nevo's men raped and slaughtered the clan family, the children under ten were spared death, and were sold into slavery or thrown onto the streets to live the rest of their lives in shame of their family's legacy. Rashne was left to defend for himself on the urban sums of Israel, unable to use his last name for legal citizenship.
The next 11 years turned the cheerful, calm, and happy boy into a stubborn, cold, and vain individual. Living amongst the poor and ghettos of Israel changed him as a person. During his teenage years he became more observant and witty to be able to survive the harsh urban setting. Rashne turned to sci-fi books, fiction, and ancient mythology to tune out the real world and create a fantasy realm of safety and comfort. At eighteen, Rashne illegally purchased a false indentify of a dead man, and use this identity to start a new life. Rashne was given the chance to attend the University of Sun-ja, where he chose to become an Archaeologist, specializing in ancient mythology.
